From first message to the next priority
Five practical stages explain where your input ends, where active capacity begins, and how larger work is handled.
Start with a short brief
Share the project, the goal, the timing, and any useful references through the enquiry form. Mild Rebel reviews the details and replies by email.
Choose the right design lane
The plan sets the kind of work and the production capacity available. Starter and Core each include one active request; Studio includes two parallel active requests.
Prioritize the queue
Keep upcoming requests in an unlimited queue and decide what should move first. The queue can hold future work, while the active-request limit keeps current capacity explicit.
Review the first draft
Small, well-scoped requests target a first draft in two business days. Larger work is divided into agreed milestones instead of being treated like a small task.
Approve, iterate, then move on
Review the active work, leave feedback, and use revisions within the plan’s production capacity. When that request is ready to move on, the next priority can take its place.

Capacity, in plain language
Unlimited requests do not mean unlimited work at once.
The queue can keep growing, but only the number of requests included in your plan are active. That distinction makes it possible to see what is being worked on now and what comes next.
- Queue
- The ordered list of requests you want Mild Rebel to work through. The queue is unlimited; output is still bounded by active-request capacity.
- Active request
- A request currently using one production lane. Starter and Core have one lane; Studio has two parallel lanes.
- Milestone
- An agreed review point for work that is too large to treat as one small request, such as a website or a broader identity project.
Before work starts
Match the request to the right scope.
Graphic production and marketing-site design have different inputs and boundaries. Development, deep UX research, complex 3D, and large motion projects are scoped separately.
